There aren't many large kangaroo babies; they're quite small in most instances; you can go to some farms and see one for yourself.
These animals are purely carnivorous, and they feed on grasses. They can pose significant problems for farmers, because they are pests and may damage crops. This is probably one of the reasons why they ket killed and are now considered to be endangered.

There are various species on this animal that vary in size and in color. The Red variety (Macropus rufus) is the biggest one. All have powerful legs and long tails, and can make long leaps, sometimes running as fast as 40 mph.
